Over the past week, we have been closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19/coronavirus situation. As your trusted cleaning company, your homes and businesses are of our utmost concern.

Because we want your home and business to be safe of all germs and diseases, we have instructed our staff to be extra vigilant and to follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention’s cleaning and disinfection recommendations during this time. This includes:

  • Disinfecting “high-touch” surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, kitchen and bathroom drawer handles and knobs, faucets, toilets, and sinks.
  • Wearing gloves while cleaning your home or business. This is something we have always done as part of our normal cleaning protocol.
  • Discarding gloves after each cleaning (this also is something we have always done).
  • We have asked our staff to refrain from shaking our clients’ hands as it can easily spread germs.

Please remember that one Cleangreen cleaning – whether it’s per week or per month – is not enough. We encourage all of you to take steps to minimize potential bacteria, diseases and germs in your homes and businesses by frequently wiping doorknobs and high touch surfaces with an approved disinfectant.

You can also help by alerting us in advance if there is someone in your household or business who is sick. We will make the proper adjustments to your scheduled cleaning, as necessary.

There are several online sources you can consult regarding the proper precautions, such as frequent handwashing, you should be taking to minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19. They include:

Harvard Medical School has an informative FAQ related to coronavirus and prevention which you can find here.

May your business remain a safe place for you and your colleagues to work. May your home remain a safe haven for you and your family. And most importantly, may you all remain in good health and good spirits!
