Giving Back to Our Community

At Cleangreen, our employees live, work and play on Cape Cod which is why we’re so committed to giving back to this place we call home. Throughout the year, we donate in-kind cleaning services for fundraisers that support local nonprofits helping to make Cape Cod a stronger, happier, healthier and more vibrant place. We’re particularly proud of our employees who regularly participate in charitable causes because they understand the importance of social responsibility.

Below are a few of the organizations that we proudly support. We encourage you to learn more about them and the great work they are doing in our community.

Arts Foundation of Cape Cod – A nonprofit that advocates, promotes, and champions arts and culture on the Cape through fellowships, scholarships, and grants to area artists and organizations. The Arts Foundation’s major fundraiser, Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea, is one of the Cape’s seminal cultural events of the summer.

Calmer Choice – Focused on mindfulness, Calmer Choice’s programs are aimed at children across Cape Cod, offering them ways to reduce their anxiety, increase their attentiveness, better manage their emotions, and improve their overall well-being.

Cape and Islands United Way – An independent organization that works to improve lives and strengthen communities on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket by raising money, leveraging resources, and donating time and talents to drive collective and sustainable community change, while providing a safety net for emergency needs.

DEVO Cycling Club Cape Cod – Through a partnership between Cleangreen and Cape Cod Sea Sports, DEVO Cycling Club offers mentorship and coaching to junior cyclists. Understanding that accessibility is important to the success of the sport, the club also provides need-based support for local athletes which includes a bike loan program, race fee reimbursement, and a clothing and uniform allowance. Our CEO Jitka Borowick serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Flower Angels USA.

Rotary Club of Hyannis – Founded in 1925, the Hyannis Club adheres to the principles of Rotary International which includes a commitment to community service, vocational service, and club service. The club is particularly important to our CEO Jitka Borowick who was installed as its President in June 2018.
